FAP Turbo End Of Week Results 18th Dec 09
17 FAP Turbo trades for a profit of 18.1 pips (£124.68).
Not a bad week.
I’ll be removing the EURCHF pair from now on leaving just the USDCHF and USDCAD pairs to trade. You may have been getting better results with EURCHF, however my broker – Alpari UK isn’t offering the best trading conditions at the moment.
I don’t often hear about others who are using FAP Turbo and who are happy with it. I’d be interested to know how you are doing and which broker you are using. Hi Hank,
It’s good to see your post again
I think I would recommend MIG as a good broker. The spreads are highly competitive, even in asian period.
Btw, do you trade USDCHF even during major new release period? USDCHF trades from 2000 to 2300 and some news releases at 1930, like the fed interest rate decision on wed. I thought it was quite dangerous to trade fapturbo during news release time.

Hi CL, thanks for the post. I’m glad to hear MIG suits you. You are right about FAPT and news releases. I suggest reducing risk on news releases that might affect the pair you’re trading until the news passes and then return your risk to its normal level. I use Forex Peace Army and Daily FX for heads up on news events. Could you suggest any alternative news sources.
Hi Hank,
I recommend this as a main source of news release : http://www.fxstreet.com/fundamental/economic-calendar/
Do you trade stocks too? Is there any fundamental relation between stocks and USD?
best regards,
CL
Thanks for the news source. I own stock but I don’t actively trade stocks at the moment.
In the bigger picture the economy is very reliant on the currency markets. A good economy will have a strong currency and vice versa. So if the USD is strengthening then the economy will be too. How the currency effects each stock is specific to each company and what they sell.
